The Border springs to life with its collection of bonus features. There are some classic Nolimit City bonuses mixed in with some newer features to ensure a thrilling bit of online slot action.
Firstly, there are the usual ‘x’ features. xWays symbols are a staple of Nolimit City slots. These are symbols that can transform into two or four of their respective symbols. These are a great way of boosting the winning potential of the game. xSplits also make an appearance here. In this game, they turn all symbols on their lift into two symbols and then they turn themselves into a Wild. If more than one of these lands on one row, the symbols that are already split get a multiplier worth up to 64x.
XNudge Cluster Wilds make an appearance in the slot. These can nudge up or down when they are part of a winning cluster. When they do this, the win multiplier increases by one. xBomb Wilds are another feature; these explode and remove all adjacent symbols and sets off another collapse.
Other than the x features, there are also two different Bonus Spins rounds. Firstly, there are the Mule Spins. Landing six of the game’s Scatter will trigger these. Players get 10 spins. During the round, if an xWays is part of a win, all cluster symbols on the same reel are infected by it, splitting them into two or four symbols.
If seven Scatters land, they will trigger the Coyote Spins. In this round, the same thing happens, only all cluster symbols, not just those on the same reel, are infected by the xWays. All xBombs will add their multiplier to all symbols with a multiplier attached. The win multiplier does not reset during the round either.
